With the introduction of the Address Book client under Mac OS X Apple gave us a nice tool. However sharing the same Address Book among your collegues is a little hard. the Address Book does have a way to connect to an LDAP server however the set of attributes that are requested from and are actually mapped to an Address Book attribute is limited. With the introduction of Leopard Mac OS X Server I hoped all would be solved well that was a disappointment....

Sourceforge project ldaptoaddressbo
To share the code of this project I've requested a Sourceforge project named LDAP to Address Book.
I received approval and am now in the process of putting the source code under its CVS. For the time being you can download the Xcode project code and the compiled application via the related website.
